Questions
-
Do I need to book ahead or meet a guide?
Neither. There is no guide and no time slot. You pick a story and start it whenever you like, on whatever day suits you. Some stories may be limited to the opening hours of landmarks along the way, but that will always be specified on the story page.
-
How long does one take?
Stories range from about 30 minutes to 2 hours. The length and the distance are on every story page, and you decide how fast you want to take it. You are even welcome to take breaks along the way.
-
Can I play with other people?
Yes. Clooz is built to make a solo experience perfectly immersive, but one phone between two or three players works well too: everyone sees the same clue and gets to argue about the answer.
-
Is it a guided tour or a game?
Both at once. You get the real history of the place, wrapped in a mystery you have to solve to keep going.
-
What if I have to stop halfway?
Stop wherever you like. Your progress is saved, so you can pick the story up later the same day or come back another time.
-
What does it cost?
For now Clooz is still being perfected and is therefore completely free of charge. We ask that you help us make it better with detailed reviews and feedback instead of money. As we grow we will ask for a small fee per story, or offer passes for a specific duration or location.
